Crispy Potato Toast
Crispy Potato Toast is a simple and easy recipe that goes well as a breakfast dish or a tea time snack. This can also be a good option for kid’s tiffin box recipe.


  • Boiled Potato - 2-3
  • Onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • Bread slices - 5
  • Tomato Ketchup - 2 Tbsp
  • Red Chilli powder - ½ Tsp
  • Cumin (Jeera) powder - 1 Tsp
  • Garam masala - 1 Tsp
  • Mango (amchur) Powder - 1 Tsp
  • Grated Ginger - ½ Tsp
  • Green Chillies - ½ Tsp (finely chopped)
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 Tbsp (finely chopped)
  • Sesame seeds - 1 Tbsp
  • Salt - To taste
  • Butter - 2 Tbsp

  • For Potato mixture, Mash the potatoes and add onion, red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala, mango powder, grated ginger, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, salt and mix well.
  • Cut the bread slices diagonally in two pieces each.
  • Spread the tomato ketchup on one side of slice evenly.
  • Spread the prepared potato mixture on the top of ketchup.
  • Now sprinkle some sesame seeds on the top of potato mixture.
  • Take a tawa/Non Stick pan, evenly toast the prepared breads using butter on both the sides until they become crisp and golden brown in colour.
  • Serve these hot Crispy Potato Toast along with your favourite ketchup and chutney!!!!
