directions for perfect steamed rice :
- rinse the rice under running water, rubbing the grains together between the palms of your hands, continue this rinsing until the water runs fairly clear.
- soaked the rice for 30 minutes and drain.
- boil water in a deep pan.
- after the water comes to a boil then add the soaked and drained rice.
- now add salt, oil and mix well.
- cook on a medium flame for 8 to 10 minutes or till the rice is 90% cooked.
- drain them and transfer to a plate.
- now perfect fluffy steamed rice is ready to be served.
