Fasting or Vrat is a common religious ritual followed by Indians during different festivals.During the process of Fasting, you are expected to eat only few set of food items. Fruits form an essential part of the Fasting diets because of the health and nutrition factors.
Eating fruits just plain can sometimes be boring so here comes a simple fruit Chaat recipe that is very quick, easy and tastes really good. This Fruit salad/Chaat is good not only for vrat/fasting days but can also be prepared for party and get-togethers, this simple salad will be liked by all.
Note : If you plan to make this during non-fasting days, you can use normal table salt / black salt instead of Rock Salt / Sendha Namak(used specially as Fasting Salt) and also use a little of chaat masala as well for that extra taste.

Step by step recipe for Fruit Chaat
- Wash and chop the apple, bananas and cucumber into one inch sized pieces.
- You can add other fruits as per your choice.
- Take all the chopped items in a big bowl.
- Add sugar, lemon juice, rock salt(Sendha Namak), red chilli powder, jeera powder.
- Mix everything well.
