Ingredients for bread roll or potato stuffed bread rolls
- bread - 8 slice
- potatoes - 4 medium (boiled)
- roasted cumin seeds powder (jeera powder) - ½ tsp
- green chili - 1 (chopped) (optional)
- coriander powder (dhania) - 2 tsp
- red chili powder - ½ tsp
- garam masala - ½ tsp
- mango powder (amchur) - 1 tsp
- salt - as per taste
- coriander leaves (cilantro) - 2 tbsp (finely chopped)
- water - 1 cup
- oil - to fry

Directions for bread roll or potato stuffed bread rolls
- pressure cook potatoes for 3-4 whistles. wait till it cools.
- once cool, peel off the skin, and roughly mashed them well with a potato masher or with a back of a ladle.
- take a bowl and add all the ingredients: mashed potatoes, roasted cumin seeds powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, mango powder, salt, garam masala, finely chopped green chili and coriander leaves(cilantro) for bread roll stuffing.
- mix all the ingredients very well.
- take a bread slices and cut the sides.
- dip the bread slice into water just for a second.
- immediately squeeze the excess water from the bread.
- place the some filling in the center of the bread.
- after that wrap the bread and give an oval shape with the help of both hands.
- make sure to pinch the edges of bread and secure tight.
- if there is any exposed potato filling, it will leak out in the oil while frying them.
- make all the stuffed bread rolls this way.
- heat a kadai/wok on medium flame and add oil for frying bread rolls.
- when the oil becomes hot, then add 3-4 stuffed bread rolls at a time.
- now deep fry the prepared bread roll into hot oil.
- the oil has to be medium hot. the moist bread will absorb a lot of oil if the oil is not hot enough.
- stir and fry from all sides on medium gas until it turns crispy and golden brown.
- drain the potato stuffed bread rolls on kitchen paper tissues to remove excess oil.
- now your potato stuffed bread rolls is ready to be served.
- serve these yummilicious potato stuffed bread rolls with tomato ketchup, coriander chutney, mayo or schezwan sauce for extra flavour.
